This very large Zia storage jar has strength of design and beautifully paint. The design layout is kept simple. A bold red band encircles the middle panel at its base, which indicates a date of 1920-1930.

It is likely that either Trinidad Medina or possibly Isabel Toribio made this jar. There were only 2 potters in Zia during this period who made large jars and the designs most closely resemble those used by these potters.
