This cuff bracelet by Antonio Pineda is quite rare. As part of the Silver Revival after the Mexican Revolution, Antonio PIneda became a Master of jewelry design in Taxco. He is known for being very creative in his designs, honoring traditions and yet also having a modern aesthetic. He became one of the major forces in Mexican modernism.
As is evident in the design of this bracelet, Antonio honors the Deco movement. At the same time, the bracelet has very clean, modern lines. As in all his jewelry, the quality of the workmanship is excellent. Hallmarks include: MADE IN MEXICO, the Antonio crown, SILVER (which usually indicates 970 silver), and the eagle stamp 17, which was assigned to his taller.
All measurements given are from the inside of the bracelet, so that you can more accurately judge how it will fit on your wrist. The bracelet's hinges allow it to reshape from oval to round, accommodating different shapes of wrists. When moved to a more oval shape, the height will necessarily be reduced. These hinges allow the bracelet to be very comfortable on your wrist.
