With hi-grade turquoise and beautiful stamping, this bracelet is a fine example of the quality work that the Navajo silversmiths were producing before World War II.
After forming the silver band and stamping it, the silversmith cut two pieces of silver, soldered them together and then soldered the resulting diamond form onto the silver band. (This reflects the earlier tradition of repousse' work but is easier to make). The silver balls that were soldered on individually are a continuation of the earlier technique. The designs formed by stamping are also very nicely done.
